In connection with the modernization of “NPP Kozloduy”, Kozloduy, in 2015, the complex replacement of the stator of the generator was carried out in the machine room of the 6th power unit of the nuclear power plant. This operation was done by the existing double-girder bridge crane with a lifting capacity of Q=220t and the newly installed double-girder bridge crane with a lifting capacity of Q=160t.

The operation of disassembling and assembling the stator with a mass of 360 tons was carried out with a load-lifting traverse and the synchronous control of the two bridge cranes. The joint management project was carried out and implemented by the engineers of “Kranostroene Engineering” Ltd. The synchronization was performed from the cabin of the 160 tons overhead crane.
