The team of “Kranostroene Engineering” has registered a utility model special hoist in the Patent Department of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The invention relates to lifting and transport equipment (special hoist). It is intended for the handling of loads, where the specifics of the work require their safe transportation in a dangerous environment in the event of a malfunction of the driving electric motor. Most often, this type of equipment is used in facilities where the permanent access of personnel is prevented for security reasons. These are objects on the territory of nuclear power plants, scientific laboratories, etc. Examples of such are packaging with fresh or spent nuclear fuel, as well as products and tools contaminated after working with radioactive materials.

In order to ensure the safe transportation of such dangerous goods, a lifting mechanism is created, and the transportation itself is achieved by duplicating the drive mechanisms.
